The biggest reason many people move to North Carolina is for the beaches. Myrtle Beach is only a four hour drive away from Charlotte and offers endless afternoons of summer fun. Carowinds Theme Park is a great place to take the family. The park has plenty of acres of rides and attractions, so be sure to bring your walking shoes! It includes several different roller coasters and water rides to satisfy all ages of the family. There is also family dining, live shows, and a Nickelodeon Central. Many families make it a summer tradition to go here at least once a year, and plenty of people will come from out of state just to visit this spectacular theme park.

Moving to the Charlotte area just may be one of the best decisions you ever make. There is plenty to do and see, and the area is easy to feel at home with. It is a rare combination of busy city life, luxurious beaches, and pleasant countryside that many find hard to leave behind.
